The JR Household Trust Care team consists of three shift positions:

 

• House Manager
• Weekend Companions
• Overnight Companion

We are recruiting for an overnight companion:

Overnight Companion/caregiver:

 

Position is for a caring, energetic female providing all personal care needs for a disabled young lady. Client is a spastic, quadriplegic and is non-verbal but very intelligent.  Shift begins at 5pm and ends at 9am each day Sunday evening through Friday morning. The employee is typically able to have personal time between 10pm and 7am but must be on site for emergencies. Private bedroom, bath and sitting room are provided along with linens. Typical work week is 30 hours and qualifies for fully paid health insurance after 60 days employment.

 

• Applicant must be caring and exhibit patience with a calm demeanor.

 

• Healthcare knowledge is not required but helpful.

 

• Applicant should be reliable and a team player.

 

• A valid driver's license is required in order to provide client with occasional transportation. Wheelchair minivan is provided.

 

• Company would prefer applicant to live within a 30 minute commute of Fort Collins, CO.

 

Weekend Companion/caregiver:

 

Client would like to hire a young and energetic female companion interested in working with her weekends, including overnight. Client is a spastic, quadriplegic and is non-verbal but very intelligent. Responsibilities include some meal preparation, feeding, dressing, personal hygiene and administering medications. Hours for shift are from 5pm Friday to 5pm Sunday: alternating weekends . Companion may sleep when JR sleeps, typically 10pm to 8am but must remain on site. There is a separate suite with bedroom, sitting room and bath available as well as a wheelchair van for outings. Position offers competitive pay with training and family support.
